Coburn Tries to Offset Expense of Unemployed

So, we are heading to China...and we are requesting to borrow MORE money so we can tell lazy bums "it's ok to sit on the couch!"

Coburn tried to compromise with cuts to other programs and got shot down 52-47. How does the "tax cut bill" pass 81-19 and Coburn is left hanging on an amendment that supports what people are saying out here? Only needed SIX more votes on Coburn's Amendment for it to have passed!

FRUSTATION...CHALLENGE...

One person.

That's it. Just one. Grant you he is backed by a very powerful and very agendized organization, but just one voice and the American system grinds to a halt.

On Nov. 2, 2010, Americans in Oklahoma voted as they should have - NO! It was a near 70% vote for NO! The State Questions was whether International law or Sharia Law could be used in the decisions of the court along with Constitutional law. Well....heck no! Seriously, nothing else should be used - nothing! Period. End of Question!

However, this guy, exercising his rights as an "American," said that this law violates his First Amendment rights because it singles out his religion. Give me a break! I am Baptist - want me to push my Constitutional objections on you???

Give me a break. This is America - if you don't like it GO HOME! Dab Gummit - I am sick of loosing MY RIGHTS to you "one voicers" that get out there and take advantage of our system while I simply live, work and enjoy the system! We lost prayer in school, spiritual displays in public areas, abortion legalized.....ALL BECAUSE OF ONE OF YOU!

I am loosing my tax money because of the many "ONES" that abuse our tax system and are trying to push Amnesty through for illegals! NO!

I am loosing my "right" to money taken from my income supposedly for my elder years! But because of a few "ONE'S" Policies...likely won't be there!

The American President - ONE person, just got bumped to the 2nd Most Powerful Person in the World by Forbes Magazine. Who is now #1? Hu Jintao of CHINA! It is, I believe, because of his lack of experience and his cowtailing!

Well this is ONE person tired of it! This has got to stop! AMERICA IS BETTER THAN THIS!

Is anyone else scared? A healthy fear...one that tells your brain, "change course, now!" - anyone?

The illustrious leaders in DC have requested and approved the debt ceiling increase of 2 Trillion dollars! Please note, we have spoken about a trillion dollars on our blog before - it is nearly unimaginable. For a refresher, please click this trillion dollar link!

According to an article I found (which looks toward 2009), 10.278 Trillion was projected for that year! At the time I write this word, we are at $12.634 Trillion! What further sobering thoughts as you fiddle around, read this blog and otherwise go about living in America....go to this clock and be wowed! Our debt to GDP is 86.6% and individually we carry $40, 067 in debt as "citizens" yet, as tax paying individuals (those paying taxes and not leeching off America) the burden is $113,147!

Now, I have my own debt - mostly my home and vehicle. I have to pay self-employed taxes and am waiting to see how much I get nailed with...but then, I am fine rendering to Caesar that which really is his. My problem is, $113,147 has to come from somewhere and I want to pay off my car and then my home....but, time is ticking and Uncle Sam is gonna come calling...

Are you getting it yet? Look back at the debt clock - what is the single biggest item RIGHT NOW that is sucking money away? Medicare/Medicaid OR GOVT HEALTH CARE! Can anyone look at that and truly believe that we can spend MORE on health care? It does not stop there either - look at the bottom: Social Security, Bush's Prescription Drug Deal, Liabilities!

Obama man, we cannot spend our way out of this. You give lip service well - this week you said that in our personal lives it is not wise to go and buy the boat when you cannot pay for the mortgage. Well, health care looks pretty close to a boat to me! Further, lets just have a lesson in what the American Government was designed to pay for: Defense/Protection, common good, and limited government.

Thanks to spending Presidents we have the "blessings" of everything from apple juice to War protection. Spelled out...that means roads, daycare, drugs, section 8 housing, metro transit, high speed rail....you name it! These should all remain in the private sector and the private section should be kept out of the government (ie. GE, Tide, etc). Who started hospitals in the first place...um, lets see....in OKC there is Baptist Hospital, Presbyterian, Mercy, St. Anthony...hmmm. Too bad they couldn't stay that way. I read the history of Baptist Hospital and it was moral issues that first shut the door on ministry related health provisions. Legal issues put the nail in the coffin. This is in very brief, but we did this to ourselves.

The true conservative answer to much of health care is to revise the system: 1). Allow nationalization of the health care providers, allowing someone in NY to purchase health care across state lines, if the provisions and premiums are better. This will force growth in the economy and challenge the providers to better themselves and ultimately bring the price of care to a reasonable level mandated by the market. 2). Put a stop to tort abuses. Doctors and care providers should be able to live to there potential without fear of legal ramification for errors beyond their control. 3). Remove the government - it is getting harder to keep their sworn oath, because of the limits that medicare/caid already put on them. 4). Allow coverage with pre-existing conditions. 5). Give tax credit for health care expenditures.

Bottom line of this article, as I close we are now over $75,000,000 more in debt. China is watching, they are an emerging giant in the financial world and they hold our debt. Hold long will they continue to give...and worse, how long till they take away? We should not be raising the ceiling, we should be eliminating pork spending of all kinds. Will it initially cost some jobs...sadly, probably yes. Will those jobs be replaced...YES, in the PRIVATE Sector! We must stop the bleeding - 2010 - has to be the year of a HUGE turn-around in America.

WHAT CHURCH TO ATTEND?

This last week was all about Mr. Obama's pick for Easter Sunday. ....wonder who won the pot out there - I am sure there was a large bet somewhere! As if this was important news?

Last week, an American Cargo ship was taken by pirate - argh! They are "cute" in cartoon Disney form or "cool" in the Caribbean, but in real life - this is serious stuff. Fortunately, Obama finally allowed us to use force. Actually, this surprised me - after giving us up to virtually everyone in Europe and Asia last week - I am amazed he did. Personally, I think it took to long. Made us look indecisive, non-committed and even weak. If this is a foreshadowing to more serious matters: Korea, China, the attack on the dollar and so much more - hmmmmm.

But I digress. Back to the matter at hand: church. Specifically, where to go. Americans in general evidently have a desire to be church oriented. I would not say that we are as strong in the faith as the Supreme Knight Carl Anderson, but we at least like to see Grandma on Easter Sunday.

In general, most of us pick a church by our environment and upbringing. Others, may choose church because it is near their home, looked inviting, friend asked them to come, etc. Still others by intellect, spiritual teachings, liturgy, type of singing, etc. And, there are those that pick it because it "wears well." In other words, this means it is politically correct, social status enhanced, crowd pleasing, etc.

Last week, four teams were sent out by YOU the TAX PAYER to see what church Mr. Obama should attend. I wonder the criteria? Security? Probably - and rightly so. Mix of People? Color of People? Socio-economic status of Parrish? Evidently, these teams went to one Mixed, 1 Black and 2 White Churches. Wow.

Well, I found only a couple stories on the topic tonight is from the Christian Science Monitor and Associated Press they highlight that he attended "The Presidents' Church" in DC but it is not their final decision spot as yet.

How hard can this be? One should have convictions, spiritual beliefs and preferences. One should consider first how they may support and contribute to a Church as well as how the Church will aid their spiritual journey. Finally, with children to consider; how does the Children's Ministry rate. From there, one would look at how they support missions, community and each other. There should be no concern for who may be offended, is sad, happy or otherwise. One just does this.

Once again our presidential choice shows a lack of decisiveness in even the "little" decisions for One in his position. While I understand he is unable to just walk into a church and visit as many of us would do, there should be a general idea which denomination, sect or group and no question as to why. Wonder what Jeremiah Wright is guiding him to do?

CHA-CHING, CHANG! HERE IT COMES!

Cha-Ching, here we are on day 64 and trillion is a new 'normal' number for 'us' to just toss around. Tax evaders in our highest elected and appointed offices - bi-partisan-ly speaking! You and I would get the book thrown at us!

Now this: China is suggesting a new currency (cha-ching)...and is getting an ear! Do what?! Remember the good ole' days - bad guys were bad and good guys always won! Where has that day gone? The Lone Ranger really wasn't 'alone.' Superman's alter-ego was the common everyday guy. McGuyver and Magnum PI put everything back together and Mr. Rogers - he really was your neighbor. Remember, we had bomb drills - hide under the desk cause the Commies might toss a bomb our way someday? Wasn't Russia...Iron Curtain... behind the Chinese??

CHINA? Cha-Ching, are we serious? Can anyone say Tiananmen Square? Gigantic military force... Can you picture the man in front of the tank? What about Communist(ism) - does that ring an alarm in anyone's head? What about nuclear talks and scare? Oppression? Population Control or worse?

Over the last 25 years, we should have seen America sliding away - we should have taken measures to avoid 9/11 - avoid the drive to socialism and tolerance. Now, China, Korea, Middle East and other disenfranchised countries are becoming stronger and are seeking prominence in the world. Mexico is over-running our country. English has not been named our national language - as if it is wrong to have one (French, Italian, Chinese...these must be un-politically correct too?). Russia is listed high in the call for a super-currency at the upcoming Summit in April! Cha-Ching!

Mr. Obama and our leadership have gift wrapped our collective soul and handed it to them. Our dollar is crashing, we are in debt to our eyeballs (for what? pork concessions here and there - certainly hasn't been stimulus!).

China. Let me say it again...China. They have bought our companies, bought land, and now our debts. Cha-ching! They perch in the ready, just above our heads, anticipating the right time to dive full-long into our open, oozing and bleeding wounds. Their bulging beady eyes blood-red in desire for our total demise...without - lifting - the - sword. They have a stock-piled treasury and they are flexing that muscle...imagine, you may soon have a "yuan" in your pocket! Which by the way, .146cent/yuan is the current exchange...sad. Thank you Obama....keep nailing the coffin!
