Bottom line: The statement about America being atheist - totally thoughtful. However, in the spirit of the true context of his writing, I would think that Ben Stein might say "Where is it that America is supposed to be totally accepting and non-individualistic? Is it not what the Pilgrims and Founders of America landed here to become? Did they not want Liberty for all?"

Seems to me, we wear are feelings and personal preferences on our sleeves. We have a true ROOT to who we are - totally traceable in unrevised history. From that Federalist Root, our Republic was born. Why is it that Texas gets this?
